My Story

My Story

Hi!

My name is Josie and I am currently a Director and Life of the Party Platinum as of December 2021.

I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, Jonathan, and mommy to the cutest two fur babies, Obee and Lilly.

Before Covid happened and our lives pretty much stopped, I was a full-time singer, making my living performing in bars and clubs all around San Diego. I moved to the US in 2003 to pursue a career in music, so seeing it all come to a halt like that was pretty traumatic.

I found Paparazzi again by chance through Facebook, while I was scrolling one night in May 2020. I saw my now upline selling and I had bought it before so I knew the quality. I decided to treat myself and get a couple pieces since they are so affordable and I hadn't spent any money in literally 2 months.

After the live I messaged her and asked her a few questions about the business. I had been intrigued before, but the lady I used to buy from never talked about it and one day she just stopped going live, so I had no idea how it all worked. Kristina answered all my questions and told me that she thought that I would be really good at it. That was all I needed to hear.

Scared but hopeful, and with no money coming in, I dug into my savings and invested in the small home party kit, and I began going live and working my business weekly ever since.

I made Life of the Party Platinum in one short year and have built a loyal customer base that I am proud to now call my friends. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found Paparazzi during such a dark time in our lifetime. This business has given me a purpose and a new found sisterhood, ready to help at every turn.

I launched my website in November of 2021, hoping for a reach way beyond social media.

I am back to performing again but I wouldn't give up what I have built with consistency and determination for the world. I truly enjoy every aspect of my life now. I have found two dream jobs. How many people can say that?

Fast forward to January 2024. It was time to pivot. They say doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity, right? My Paparazzi jewelry sales were not what they used to be, but I had become so fond of connecting with customers and running a business from my home, I didn't want to let it go. So I opened an online boutique and started sourcing other jewelry and different items like hats, scarves, purses, keychains and more. In August of 2024 I came to the bittersweet decision that I couldn't continue with Paparazzi anymore. I wanted to devote 100% of my attention to my new thriving business.

I love what Paparazzi did for me and my self confidence, but now I have more control over what I can and cannot do to sell product efficiently and I can sell all sorts of different items. I do daily preorders in my new Facebook group, www.facebook.com/groups/sparklewithjo which allows me to bring my customers a larger variety of items, and I only order what's requested. Win/win for everyone. Come join us!

The picture below is from a memory that I will cherish forever, my first Paparazzi convention, where I got to connect with all these amazing women , chasing their entrepreneurial dreams. I encourage you to go for what makes you happy and to never give up. If it's not working, try a different approach. If I can do it, anybody can!
